Juxtaposing the world of dreams with daily life in inspirational designs, quality fabrics and impeccable workmanship, Penang-born and Paris-based Jonathan Liang believes design should embody the wearer.
Liang’s RIMOWA Edit was influenced by photographers Harry Gruyaert and Diana Thate. Hand cut French lace serves as an abstract collage layer portraying a Gruyaert landscape. While his second piece pays tribute to Thate’s ‘Flowers in the Snow’ series, enhanced with meticulously handcrafted blossoms.
